From Istanbul Airport

By metro & tram

Take the metro from the airport to Zeytinburnu, then change to the tram to arrive at Sultanahmet. Walk a few metres downhill in front of Hagia Sophia; on the right end of the square you'll find a road descending past the Four Seasons. Cross past the hotel and turn — you'll find the start of Akbıyık Street. We're at the top of it.

By bus & ferry

Take a public bus or Havaş to Kadıköy on the Asian side. Cross the Bosphorus by ferry to Eminönü, then take the tram to Sultanahmet — and follow the same short walk above to Akbıyık Street.
